Amrend's Success

This is what I want to say to one of my friend who just got scholarship for his further studies. If someone works really hard then he or she will surely get success at the near future.

AMREND PRASAD SHAH from Sarlahi who’s studying Civil Engineering(Ist year, 2nd semestar) in Kathmandu University got awarded with Indian Embassy’s ‘GOLDEN JUBILEE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD’, from Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Rakesh Sood.

Hard working students need to be awarded and they should be given more chances to show their talent and they should be encouraged to work for the country. Every good work needs to be cherished and should be brought to the public. Though one might feel this is a very minute success, but for a student every single success is a massive SUCCESS.

Thus I would like to congratulate him in this success. Congratulations my friend and do the best on coming days. All the very best for that and we’ll be looking forward to other such triumph.

क्षय रोग विरुद्घ विद्यार्थीहरुको पहल

११ चैत्र
काभ्रे, काठमाडौँ विश्वविद्यालय

हिजो चैत्र ११ गते अर्थात क्षयरोग दिवस । हरेक वर्ष जस्तै यस वर्ष पनि विभिन्न कार्यक्रम गरि यो दिवस नेपालभरी मनाइएको छ । त्यस्तै यस विश्वविद्यालयको परम्परा अनुरुप काठमाडौँ विश्वविद्यालय युथ रेडक्रस सर्कल (के.यू.आर्.सि. सि.) र फार्मेसी फ्याकल्टीका विद्यार्थीहरुको पहलमा क्षयरोग सम्बन्धी जनचेतना जगाउनका निम्ति एक ¥यालीको आयोजना गरिएको थियो । उक्त ¥याली विहान आठ बजे के. यू. गेटबाट सुरु भएको थियो । अठ्ठाइस किलो हुँदै धुलिखेल पुगी त्यहाँ रहेको जिल्ला क्षयरोग निवारण केन्द्रमा पुगी पुनः धुलिखेल बजार परिक्रमा गरी कोणसभा गरी सम्पन्न भएको थियो ।

जनमानसलाई क्षयरोग र यसबाट बच्नसक्ने उपायबारे सूचित गरिएको थियो । ¥यालीमा सहभागी हुन विश्वविद्यालयबाट करिव तीन सयको हाराहारीमा विद्यार्थीहरु आएका थिए भने धुलिखेलसम्म पुग्दा सहभागीको सङ्ख्या बढ्दो रुपमै रहेका थिए । जनतालाई धुम्रपान र सुर्तीजन्य पदार्थले गर्ने असरबारे जानकारी सहभागी जिल्ला क्षयरोग निवारण कार्यलयका पदाधिकारीहरुले दिनुभएको थियो । साथै विद्यार्थीहरुबाट भएको यस सुरुवातलाई निरन्तरता दिन क्षयरोग निवारण कार्यलयले अन्य कार्यक्रम पनि गर्ने प्रतिवद्ददता गरेको छ ।

के.यू.आर्.सि. सि. का प्रतिनिधि अनिश श्रेष्ठका अनुसार आगामी दिनहरुमा पनि यस किसिमका कार्यक्रम निरन्तर गरिने जानकारी दिनुभयो । जनमानसलाई थोरै भएपनि जानकारी दिनु विद्यार्थी भएका नाताले आवश्यक भएकाले यस्ता कार्यक्रमलाई सहयोग गरिदिन सम्बन्धित निकायलाई अनुरोध पनि गर्नुभयो । “ चुरोट, सुर्ती नखाऔँ, क्षयरोगलाई भगाऔँ” भन्ने नाराका साथ सुरु भएको यस ¥यालीले थोरै भएपनि समाजलाई सचेत गराउने काम गरेको छ ।
